Iran's Fuel Shortage Worsens Six Months Into War

The United States and Israel have been at war with Iran for six months. The conflict has caused fuel prices to rise sharply in Iran. Long lines have formed at gas stations in cities like Tehran and Mashhad. Some stations have run out of fuel completely.

The rising prices are also affecting costs in other countries. In the United States, diesel fuel now costs nearly $5.60 a gallon. Diesel fuel is used to power trucks and school buses. Experts are watching to see how long the shortages will last.
